Ceramics A
This course is an introduction to ceramics and pottery making. It focuses on basic handbuilding techniques: pinch, coil, slab, and hollowing. We also cover basic glazing techniques: dipping, pouring, brushing and wax resist. Using the Elements of Art and Principles of design students will create appealing pottery and sculpture.

Ceramics B
This course is a continuation to Ceramics A. Building on basic techniques from the previous class this introduces new building techniques like wheel throwing, alternative decorating methods and more intermediate/advanced pottery and sculpture making.

Advanced Ceramics
This course is intended for those who have completed ceramics A and/or B who wish to advance their skills with more freedom for independence exploration of the medium. This course is designed to help students perfect their skills, build a portfolio and develop conceptual strategies in their ceramics making.

3D Art and Sculpture
This course is an introductory course to making three dimensional works of art. Students will explore the potential uses of using various materials and use the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to create dynamic, meaningful art that appeals to broad audiences.
